About the Pastor

20 plus years of pastoral ministry experience in leading church revitalization, starting new ministries, serving diverse cultures and socio-economic communities. 

Jonathan grew up in the Harrisburg, Hershey, Pennsylvania area. He received Christ as his Savior as a child and was nurtured in the faith while regularly attending the Hershey Church of the Nazarene. At the age of 16, he began to sense God’s call to ministry. He received his Master of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary in 2009.

Jonathan met his wife, Sharla, as students at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Sharla was raised in Sugarcreek, Ohio.  Sharla has a deep compassion to share God’s love and finds joy in serving the church.  God has called Jonathan and Sharla together in ministry. 

Jonathan and Sharla are the proud parents of three daughters, who love being part of the church.  The family enjoy sports, the outdoors, camping, biking, music, gardening, reading and family adventures.
